Information we collect
We collect account details, authentication identifiers, billing status, uploaded source media, generated clips, project settings, connected account metadata, support messages, and basic product analytics needed to operate ClipForge.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, process videos, generate clips and captions, manage subscriptions, provide support, secure the service, troubleshoot errors, and improve product reliability.
Media and generated clips
Uploaded media and generated clips are used to provide the service to you. Retention depends on your plan, project settings, and configured storage policies. You can delete projects from your dashboard when you no longer need them.
Service providers
ClipForge uses service providers for authentication, payments, storage, video processing, transcription, AI analysis, realtime notifications, hosting, analytics, and customer support. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to ClipForge.
Connected publishing accounts
When you connect a social account, ClipForge stores the account metadata and tokens needed to publish clips that you choose to post. You can disconnect connected accounts from the dashboard.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data, including restricted access to production credentials and service data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.
Your choices
You may update account information through your authentication provider, manage billing through the customer portal, disconnect publishing accounts, and delete projects in the dashboard.
